2005-07: BLACK RISING
Saw the return of Gav and Tim to the genre of music to which they'd promised never to return: out and out Metal. Featuring the great lead vocals of Pete Goodfellow
(ex- METALWORKS) and Mark on bass the band played mainly 80s metal covers by acts like Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, and AC/DC. Pete is one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet, a great singer and good promoter and friend to other bands. He still fronts this band (sometimes they go out as the tribute act DIO RISING) which now features METALWORK’s Chris on the drums and Johnny Lynnot from HEAVY LOAD.
