2002-07: BEER ENGINE
Formed during a midweek jam session Gavin ran at The Stanley Arms, Beer Engine play rock numbers from the 50’s to 00’s. Every band member was also a singer, yet it has to be said harmonies were not their strong point!As a general rule of thumb , John would sing the 60’s stuff (Beatles, Stones), Steve the American rock (Bon Jovi, ZZ Top) Gav the 70’s stuff (Bowie, Python Lee Jackson) and Tim, as usual, the weird stuff ( Eurythmics and ABBA). John and Steve are now in the oddly-named PANCHO BULLET, but BEER ENGINE still play the occasional gig.
