Part 4 (1 2 3 5 6 7 8)

1993: THE LAND OF ID
A joint business venture brought Gavin back into contact with a college friend, Neil “Clink” Clarkson (Owner of Audiozone Studios, Wakefield) whose previous band, the infamous space rock outfit “QUELLADRIVE” had split. With the inclusion of Matt Giblin on flute and Gavin’s friend and ex-QUELLADRIVE member Richard Grundy, THE LAND OF ID came into being. Mainly instrumental prog/space rock (think Hawkwind/Ozric Tentacles/Gong) they played festivals and biker meets, with the unusual approach of having two bassists and no guitarist.

1994-96: WILD JUSTICE
Saw Gav's return to clubland after Gavin offered to help out, and found himself fronting the band and playing lead guitar. Forming the roots of Doghouse, this band was to eventually become the longest running outfit Gavin has ever worked with.
